Sage has just released Timeslips Premium 2018 with some exciting new features. For those that use the perpetual version, 2019 should be following soon and will incorporate some of these same features.
For those firms that accept credit cards, LawPay is often the preferred merchant account. With the new Timeslips LawPay integration, you can include payment links with your emailed bills so that clients can easily pay you. You can view a video showing how the integration works at LawPay video
Does your firm do Electronic Billing? For years Ledes 98B met most needs, and the rest were handled with other available formats. More recently we have seen an increase in firms requesting Ledes 1998BI, Ledes 2000 and Ledes XML. The new version of Timeslips supports all of these to make submitting electronic bills easier.
Other features introduced include the ability to track Contacts and associate them with one or more Clients. This will facilitate contact management and conflict checking for those firms not using Practice Management software.
To enhance the time keeping experience there is also a new Time Entry Day view and a Time Entry Filter on the Weekly Time Sheet. The Day View is a time sheet you can use to enter time for any timekeeper on a specific day. The new filter is useful when using the weekly time sheet as it lets you hide templates you are not currently using. Rather than make the templates inactive, you now have the flexibility of filters to determine which templates show up.
Sage has also fixed some issues that were reported. For those using Premium, this is a free update.
